Rather than sitting on the side-lines, she asked if she could get involved too—and from that moment on, she never looked back. As she grew older, her focus shifted from playing to coaching, and she found a new love for the game: inspiring the next generation of young players.

"Playing and coaching at Yate has helped me so much because everyone is so friendly and they are always there if I need help," she says. "It has a real family feel, with everyone pulling in the same direction. The culture is amazing, and it translates through the coaching team and onto the kids."
